Kawasaki Boy

The hospital admission staff nurse bestowed me with this title "The Kawasaki Boy." It all started with this fever I had that refused to subside despite given antibiotics, in fact rashes appeared on my back, chest and abdomen and spreading fast almost to my face!
My eyes also became bloodshot and my lips seems to have been applied with red lipsticks even my tongue resembled the surface of strawberry. The soles of my feet were red and swelled. IRRITABILITY is the word to describe every minute I felt.
I was diagnosed as having contracted the Kawasaki disease (mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome), a children's illness, named after Dr Tomisaku Kawasaki, a Japanese pediatrician. Boys develop the illness almost twice as often as girls, and this disease is NOT common. (That makes me an UNCOMMON special boy!) Well, the cause of this disease is unknown, an infectious agent (such as a virus) is likely the culprit. It is not hereditary or contagious.
